Annual Banquet
In the fall, we sponsor a meeting and catered event for the Chamber membership. The gavel is passed from the outgoing to the incoming Chairman of the Board and special awards are announced.

Business Connections
Throughout the year the Chamber will host an informal, business before- or after-hours social event for its members. These events provide an opportunity for members to network and exchange business cards, while at the same time welcoming new members.

Committees/Task Forces
The Chamber's committees and task forces address a variety of issues of importance to the community. All employees of Chamber members are eligible to serve on these committees/task forces. Click here to review the Chamber's annual Strategic Plan outlining its committees and task forces.

Groundbreaking & Ribbon Cutting Assistance
Whether you are opening a new business or moving to a new location, we can assist you with a ground breaking or ribbon cutting ceremony. We will provide you with a photograph, agenda, ribbon and scissors; make suggestions as to the date and time; and notify the Chamber Board of Directors, our Ambassadors and Diplomats.

Information
Everything you need to know about our community - population, personal income, cost of living, taxes, labor force, transportation, recreation, business trends and much more can be found at the Chamber. We are more than willing to share the information available to us with you. If we do not have the answers to your questions, we can get them or refer you to someone who can.

Leadership Training
Leadership Dothan and Youth Leadership Dothan-Houston County are designed to orient current and emerging adult and youth leaders to the dynamics of local government and community affairs. These annual programs focus on community resources, education, political arenas, agriculture/agribusiness, healthcare, law enforcement, and communications in the Dothan Area. Orientation and a two-day opening retreat for Leadership Dothan participants is held in September, followed by a full-day session each month through May. The Youth Leadership Dothan-Houston County program consists of an opening retreat and six sessions held over a seven-month period starting in November through May. Click here to view our Leadership Dothan brochure.

LEADS Group
A great benefit offered only to members, the Chamber's LEADS Groups directly contribute to the economic development of the Wiregrass area by increasing the business and profits of Chamber member businesses/organizations through structured, noncompetitive, relational networking and the exchange of referrals and leads. Currently, the LEADS Groups meet biweekly on Wednesdays at 8:15 a.m.

Seminars and Workshops
The Chamber regularly hosts seminars and workshops of interest to the membership. These informative, timely seminars usually last from one to two hours.

Small Business Counseling
Advisors from the Small Business Development Center at Troy University are available for confidential, one-on-one business counseling appointments. Combined, SBDC business advisors have almost 100 years of experience between them and can counsel small business owners on a wide range of business issues such as feasibility of new business ideas, shaping business plans, investigating funding opportunities as well as other common issues business owners face. While counseling is free, appointments must be made prior. To make your appointment, vist the Troy's SBDC website at www.troy.edu/about-us/strategic-approach/small-business-center or for more information, call (334) 808-6793.

Small Business Week
Every year the Chamber sets aside an event-filled week to honor small businesses, the lifeblood of our community, for their positive contributions to the area's economy and quality of life.
