The Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce is a membership driven action agency designed to meet community and economic development needs. It is a voluntary non-profit organization comprised of 1,000+ area business, professionals and individuals who have banded together to advance the commercial, financial, civic, agricultural, industrial and general interests of the community.
This organization operates under the direction of a 34-member board of directors that is elected by Chamber members. The Board, serving without pay, sets the policies of the Chamber.

If the graduates of Leadership Dothan and
Youth Leadership Dothan are the indication of
things to come in our city, Dothan’s future looks
bright. The Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce
recently held graduation ceremonies for both its
Leadership Dothan and Youth Leadership Dothan
classes. These annual programs
provide participants with an
intense orientation to the
problems and issues facing our
community.
On May 28, the Leadership
Dothan Class XXVII held
its graduation ceremony for
this year’s 36 participants at
the Wiregrass Rehabilitation
Center. Graduates ranged
from a rabbi and pastor to
accountants, bankers and
business people.
