Description
This position is located in the Adult Outpatient Services Program of SpectraCare. Work hours for the position are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
The Therapist III will provide therapeutic services to clients of the system's substance abuse unit employing various clinical and social treatment skills and approaches. Provides clinical intakes, psychotherapy, documentation, coordination with agency services and response to emergency situations. Travel may be required within the five county catchment area and/or statewide as needed.
Qualifications
This position requires a masters degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work or related field. Must have successfully completed a relevant clinical practicum and have two years post masters experience in the field. Licensure as an LCSW or LPC in the state of Alabama is required.
Other requirements are a good background check and MVR and a pre-employment drug screen.
